'nLighten now stores numerical output in a MySQL database'
This is the data used to generate graphs, such as ping times, CPU usage percentage, bandwidth utilization etc. This data can now be accessed by third party reporting tools via MySQL or ODBC connections.

'More improvements'
The autodetect will now also setup monitoring of interrupt frequencies, disk throughput, MS SQL cpu usage and several new variables that will help you find load related problems on your servers.
To get the new variables on your existing servers, click on the server and then on Rescan Host. Click commit config when you are done with any changes.supporting nLighten customers and performing installations.

'Functionality tweaks'
To the right you can find the new login for your nLighten portal. Instead of as previously logging in with username and customer in two different fields, you can now login with them combined on one field. Example: carl@ogilvie
Please note that this is not the same as your email address. This makes it possible to use your browsers built-in functionality to save username and password.

The nLighten portal is now SSL encrypted, offering you secure access to your nLighten installation from anywhere.
The older login options using unencrypted web traffic will remain an option for as long as they are needed.

'Functionality tweaks'
In the past week, several major performance improvements have been made to the portal. Among these are faster cryptography for the connection between your collector and Net-Defence. We have also changed our virtualisation platform from VMWare to KVM with major speed improvements as a result.
